Join usNew members are encouraged to join regardless of their previous musical and singing experience, and we can offer some support e.g. in learning music reading and sight singing for those who would like it.
Choir is divided into four voice sections (soprano, alto, tenor and bass). Occasionally we have extra rehearsals at weekends. The year is divided into three terms starting in September.
We rehearse each Tuesday from 8.00 -10.00 p.m.
We are rehearsing in the Nightingale in the gay village.

Choir subs are currently £30 per term waged or £15 a term unwaged.
We are a performance choir, usually organising one or two major concerts per year ourselves and in addition we do guest performances throughout the year, e.g. Birmingham Pride, Arts Fest and World AIDS Day. We also guest with other LGB choirs elsewhere; such as, London’s Pink Singers, Leeds’ Gay Abandon and Edinburgh’s Loud and Proud. The need to learn new music and bring it up to performance standard means that we ask all members to attend a minimum of 80% of rehearsals.
If you think you would like to join, come along to a Tuesday rehearsal. We hold a special new members evening around mid September each year and were delighted to welcome a number of new people, but we still need more, especially men, and you can join any time.
